My Science Projects & Reports (3rd-8th grade)

 Let It Melt

My third grade science project had the experimental question of "What is the effect of different salt types on the rate of melting ice?" The hypothesis was that the morton salt would melt the ice the fastest because it was most likely.

 Copper Chemistry

This fourth grade science project had the experimental question, "What is the effect of type of acid solutions on weathering of copper pennies?" Salt and vinegar sped up chemical reactions and turn the pennies more green.

 Bending of Light

My fifth grade project's had asked the question, "What is the effect of sugar concentration on the index of refraction of a sugar water solution?" 50% sugar concentration had highest refraction of laser light compared to the rest.

 The Longest Kick

My sixth grade project's question was, "What is the effect of a catapult's different angles on the ball's distance?" The 45 degree angle had the ball get launched the farthest distance, with the 60 degree angle close behind.

 Fizz Race

My seventh grade project was my last and hardest project not an invention, asking, "What is the effect of varied temperatures of an Alka-Seltzer tablet on the amount of fizz?" The highest temperature (90) had the most fizz.

My last project was an invention I programmed: Back in a Flash - A Flashcard App with Educational Games to Make Studying More Fun.
